/ˈði.o/ is a tale of transience told in 135 meters of audio cassette tape.

The debut solo album by Tanto, is a voyage into the fragile nature of his meticulously composed imaginary soundscapes through two long-form tracks.

One could experience it as a journey full of unexpected turns, with the element of chance often intentionally taking control of his untamed electric currents. Like an acrobat walking on a thin tightrope, he is on the edge of losing the balance while manipulating his electroacoustic devices.

When equilibrium is found, then be prepared to be carried away in a hypnotic drift through rough and erratic noisescapes, that often resemble crying voices or feral static.

The expressive minimalism of the sound is also reflected in the album’s artwork. Painted with ashes of burned dead plants, each unique j-card may remind both American abstract expressionism or some destroyed Japanese calligraphy, while correlating with the unstable spirit of the music.
